YUP! I HAD MY HAIR HACKED OFF TODAY! MY HEAD FEELS 20 POUNDS LIGHTER!

I was bored with my too long, overly stringy hair and wanted a change, so I had my hair shortened and layered.

I wasn't going to hang onto that lock. (Which is less than a quarter of the total cut), but my boyfriend is creepy and wanted to keep some of my hair. (He was shocked by how much I lost).

The rest of it will be donated to "Locks of Love", a non-profit charity that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss, (i.e cancer).

My hairdresser also kept some. She has a client that wants to dye her hair to look like mine, (natural red), and is going to use it for reference. :boogie:

Yes, I look like crap. It's 2:30am. :psychotic:

wow! good for you, donating your hair like that! i've wanted to do that for a while, but i never seem to have the patience to grow out my hair. X3 and your red hair is so pretty!

That IS a lot of hair :3 I used to get sick of my hair and cut it off everytime it reached a bit past my shoulders, then I'd miss it the very next day. ^^; But since hubby likes long hair I haven't cut it since I've been with him. Been extremely tempting to grab the scissors tho X3
